Introduction

Over 30 years ago a young salesman and his wife recognised that the Island of Gozo was in dire need of a local frozen food wholesaler. The Island's steady development into a thriving tourist hotspot opened an opportunity for its inhabitants to invest in the Tourism industry; which today proves to be its main source of income. TGFF (Tarcisio Galea Frozen Food) started as a humble family buisness run by a husband and his wife from just a couple of chest freezers and turned into the first and main supplier of frozen food on the Island.

The company continues to supply quality frozen food to Gozo's restaurants, hotels, supermarkets and a variety of retail outlets operating from its cold stores located in the village of Xaghra.

We are proud to offer an excellent selection of frozen products and specialise in equipping our customers with a vast selection of the highest quality frozen meat. Through the years we have built a trustworthy rapport with our clientele which has been the backbone of our success. We have worked in partnership with our clientele to develop the Island's culinary industry and our customers continue to inspire us to bring a wider selection of frozen foods from around the world.

The company's willingness to explore new opportunities, ability to adhere to our customer's requirements and dedication towards sourcing high end quality products enabled us to overcome market fluctuations and keep us competitively viable throughout the past 30 years.

As a company we recognise our duty to protect our environment and have explored our Islands' natural solar resources. Through the recent installation of a photovoltaic system we are able to source 60% of our store's electrical energy consumption from solar energy.

We continue to grow to meet the needs of the market with the recent addition of a 3rd cold room and enhancement in our store's operations management as we look towards many more years of success and development.
